HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS PLANNER

2 comments / Posted by Elena Ringeisen

The NEW Photography Business Planner is FINALLY available and we're kicking it off with a big 50% off SALE!!!

My goal was to have a planner that is beautiful, functional and inspirational for photographers. Every aspect of this it has been created to help you organize your business and keep everything important in one convenient place.

Here are three of my favorite highlights of this new planner, there's SO much to it so be sure to take a look!

1. CUSTOM COVER
You'll see that this year you have the to option to create a custom cover, which means you get to customize it to your branding, business and life by adding your very own portrait to the cover.

BONUS: You also get to pick from FIVE beautiful color choices!

2. THE PLANNER THAT INSPIRES
Reading quotes is something I love to do. For days I sat by my computer and found the most inspirational quotes and added them to the top of the pages. This way every new day page you use, you'll have something to inspire you. At the bottom of the page, you'll find fun little sayings to bring our your inner girl boss out and keep you motivated to keep pushing forward with your business.

3. THREE WHOLE CALENDARS!
This year we decided to make this planner even more functional for photographers and added in THREE years worth of calendar pages. We understand that many photographers have to book clients well in advance and that will be easy to do in our new planner. When you open the planner to the calendar section you'll see on the left page January 2017, then on right side January 2018, and on the following page January 2019. It's like this for the whole year so you'll never need to jump around and will be able to see what you have booked with just a quick glance!

PRINTING OPTIONS:

GET IT PRINTED AT HOME OR AT ANY OFFICE SUPPLY STORE

For those of you who want to get it printed quickly and put it to use you can easily print out the pdf at home, use a hole punch and add the pages to a beautiful binder. You can also take the file straight to staples or any office supply store that also offers printing services and get it printed out professionally. They have different paper options available and can print it front to back!

Now if you do plan to get it printed out in a binder then you'll also need a pretty binder to match your beautiful planner. Here's a step by step on how to create your very own planner!

SUPPLIES:

BINDER LINK | I got mine at Staples. I loved how it matched the color of the planner.

DIVIDER LINK | Also got them at Staples. They had a nice set of clear ones which I loved. It also comes with a printing sticker sheet so you can easily get the tab names printed and then simply just stick them on the divider tabs.

PAPER | You can use any type of paper :)

GET IT AS A MAGAZINE

I have a slight obsession with magazines, I love seeing them in my office and love it even more when one of my portraits is right on the glossy cover. Every page has that high-quality look to it and it's super smooth to write on. My planner looks really pretty sitting on my desk and is always in arms reach when I need it. If you'd like to get your own magazine printed you can upload the completed pdf file to Peecho and simply order your planner as a magazine. I've used Peecho countless of times and always so impressed with the outcome. Their service is quick, professional and my magazines look absolutely beautiful!

Hi! Are there any reviews of your planner out there on another blog or something similar? This seems so perfect, I’m just curious to see how it’s printed by others as standard printers have a margin and the pages shown in your photos seem to bleed so beautifully to the very edge. I’m also curious how easy it is to print front and back and still have subtle room for binder holes. If I were to go the route of the magazine when I printed, do I upload the entire file just “as is”? Thank you so much, this looks great!
